My role at Waterstons is...
I work as a technology consultant on the service desk. I am the first point of contact that our clients interact with when they ring up the service desk. It’s my job to ensure customers receive the best experience possible, be it resolving the issue there and then or forwarding onto the correct team for the job.
My proudest Waterstons moment is...
There has been so many it’s hard to name one, but when I first started I had a ticket with a client that needed urgently resolving to keep the website online. Getting this sorted made me feel a great deal of satisfaction and those moments happen all the time!
My life away from work is...
I love being active and outdoors. Be it rock climbing, cycling or just going for a walk! I enjoy rock climbing as of recently, having started again since lockdown is over, and go to the gym once or twice a week. I go with people I met here at work as well as friends from outside, it’s great to enjoy activities with my colleagues as spending time outside of work helps us become a closer, better team. I am also very into cars at the moment, spending a lot of time maintaining and most importantly driving my pride and joy!

You call up the service desk or raise a ticket! As part of the first contact swarm I am a main point of contact for users, answering a lot of the calls and dealing with quick win tickets that me and the team can rattle off as soon as they come into the desk.
